Hey friend,
What a week it has been! Not an easy one that’s for sure BUT God promises better days a head and I find rest in that! This difficult week brought me to a memory from a few years ago:
Someone once walked up to me and whispered into my ear, “He cares about you, Brittany. He cares about you SO much that He catches all of your tears and collects them in a jar.”
Now when I go through a difficult season, that replays in my head, over and over. That statement is so comforting to me. He truly cares and He doesn’t forget about us. Every tear we shed has meaning to Him. God feels with us and weeps with us.
Those tears you cry now are going to be used to flourish something great. That is His promise to us just as it says in Psalms 56:8
“You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.”
There are days ahead that you will be thankful for the pulling and stretching that came from those “hard” seasons. Growing isn’t easy! Trust in Him and that there is purpose for this season.
I hope this gives you peace in the upcoming weeks no matter what you’re going through! He does care and he hears you.
