Hey friend,
I pray you had a restful long weekend and that this message brings you some peace and comfort today. I’m sure we’ve all dealt with others lying about us or assuming something without speaking to us first. It’s so hard not to just react to the situation and seek our own justice in that moment.
The enemy is quick to try and convince us we should care what others are saying about us. He sneaks in and allows the words of others to speak into us and that’s when we lose track of what god says about us. What god says about us is far more important than what anyone or anything can say about us. I’m guilty of falling into this trap sometimes, but I quickly remind myself who I belong to and that is God. He sees the truth, he created us, and he calls us his.
The enemy is out to seek, kill, and destroy. He tries to convince us it’s our duty defend what others are saying about us. It is not our duty. Despite the lies and the ways they’re deceiving others about you, getting “justice” isn’t the way. We forget who the Justice Seeker is when we try to handle things in our own matter. I mean honestly, how many times has confronting someone about telling lies, saying nasty things, etc. about you ended in a civil matter? Probably slim to none. That’s why it’s important to stand firm in what God says about you. We don’t need any kind of “justice” when we align ourselves to His words. That only gives the enemy power and divides us with others. Don’t give in, a great power was placed within you and that’s why the enemy is out to tear you down with the words of others.
“But God says something else about me. It's like He knew there would be other voices, so He wrote His voice down in a timeless Book of truths that would remind us over and over again in the moments when lies would block His truths and somehow make us forget. I'm going back to the source, not the people I've allowed to represent God to me. But the actual, literal, tangible words that He has written down for me.”

He sent his only begotten son knowing he would be killed FOR US. Wow! What an amazing selfless god. He loves and cares for you more than anyone else ever could. He shines light on the truth, and darkness on the lies. Don’t seek your own justice when we were meant to go and seek our Justice Seeker.
Pray for those who are doing you wrong. Even Jesus was talked about and persecuted, but his last words on the cross were asking his Father to forgive them! Wait, what? The same people that were about to kill him, he asked that they would be forgiven? Wow! What a loving, honorable thing to do.
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
Luke 23:34.
Say this to yourself right now, out loud:
   I am new in him
   I am his workmanship.
   I am beautiful.
   I am worthy.
   I am worth it.
I have been make with a purpose.
I am a child of God.
This is what I respond to.
Not the names of my past or the names anyone else but God calls me.
The Lord's words are fulfilling to the soul, while the world's words are toxic. Let's be wasted on his words, not or the world’s words. Who else knows all of your heart and mind? No one but God.Place your confidence in him and who and what he says about you.
Be blessed,
Brittany ❤️
